About the role
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency committed to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. We offer a variety of programs throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries
- Facilitate & document group discussions
- Complete client admission documentation
- Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit
- Observe & account for patients at all times ensuring their safety (hourly checks w/ documentation)
- Escort patients to meals & fresh air breaks
- Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
