About the role
The Recovery Site Lead oversees daily operations in a recovery housing setting, supports residents on their path to health and well-being, and manages various aspects of the recovery housing environment.
Responsibilities
- Completes screening, selection, and intake of potential residents
- Provides client case management as needed based on licensure scope
- Oversees house meetings and activities with residents as needed
- Collects and assists with the processing of toxicology screens of housing clients
- Manages expenses and budget for groundwork housing, through public and private funding
- Responsible for data collection and tracking of funding sources
- Manages supply orders and maintenance requests for the houses
- Responsible for safety drills, as well as recovery housing inspection and compliance
- Provides routine support and assistance to staff through individual and group meetings
- Ensures that staff assigned to the site are operating in compliance with regulatory recovery housing bodies
- Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and/or processes within recovery housing
- Captures and coordinates activities for staff through various methods, including but not limited to team meetings and regular communications
- Provides expert support in the recovery home at key times to manage the group living dynamic
- Encourages and coordinates resident engagement in recovery activities, community activities, and volunteer opportunities
- Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources
- Mets billing productivity requirements of 6 hours in a work week established by Integrated Services for behavioral health
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred
- An active license in social work, clinical counseling, or couples and family therapy is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a related field is required
- Experience working with at-risk clients in a recovery house setting is required
Qualifications
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written
- Advanced organizational skills
- The ability to maintain confidential information
- Knowledge of local behavioral health systems, housing, legal systems, and social services
- The ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions
- Access to reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
- An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage
- Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
- The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
