Recovery Home Specialist - PT

About the role

Sinnissippi Centers is seeking a part-time individual to join our team at the Women's Recovery Home. This role involves direct supervision of residents, delivery of treatment services, and facilitation of recovery in daily living situations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise residents in recovery housing.
• Participate in delivering treatment services to clients and their families.
• Facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
• Implement therapeutic activities and develop independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to and from various appointments and activities.
• Aid in planning menus and shopping for household items.
• Supervise all daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, meal planning, cleaning, and more.
• Maintain patient service records according to regulations.
• Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and document information.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the house and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Exercise confidentiality in accordance with the professional code of ethics and laws.
• Model positive guest relations and represent the agency effectively.

Requirements

• An interest in substance abuse recovery support.
• Ideal candidate should have IAODAPCA certification, though this may be obtained within two years of employment.
• Hours may vary and may include some evenings and weekends.

Pay

$18.97 - $19.92 per hour
