About the role
Rogue Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative providing services to members in Oregon, California, and Idaho. The role preserves the Credit Union's assets by managing the liquidation of acquired collateral.
Responsibilities
- Manages the preparation of acquired collateral for liquidation, including reconditioning and remarketing.
- Affirms best avenues for liquidation and executes to completion, utilizing web-based platforms and live interactions.
- Sells remarketed collateral expeditiously to minimize loss and maximize value.
- Manages multiple internal and external relationships to identify and execute ongoing efficiencies and opportunities.
- Builds and reviews vendor relationships for performance and compliance.
- Completes appropriate file documentation and records, compiles data, and performs post-sales analysis.
- Remains updated on regulations and training pertinent to the position.
- Strategically analyzes trends in loan underwriting and informs the Asset Protection Manager of findings.
- Testifies at legal proceedings as required.
- Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
- Strong organizational and productivity skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound judgment and discretion.
- Professionalism, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
- Phone and in-person communication skills.
- Independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Finger dexterity while using computer.
- Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more.
