We're looking for a passionate and motivated Recovery Coordinator to join our team at HMP Portland. The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and obtain HMPPS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with service users
• Complete assessments, recovery plans, and referrals
• Deliver engaging group sessions and workshops
• Support people to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm
• Promote recovery, independence, and social reintegration
• Work collaboratively with healthcare and partner agencies
• Empower individuals to make positive, lasting changes in their lives

Requirements

• Passionate about recovery and supporting vulnerable people
• Experience working in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, or a related field
• Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
• Thrives in a collaborative, person-centred environment
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development
