Recovery Coordinator

About the Role

As a Recovery Coordinator II, you will perform general warehouse activities with a focus on quality control and inventory management. Your work will help ensure accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify 100% quality control checks in receiving locations on high shrink and breakdown merchandise.
• Verify 100% quality control checks on outbound, laydown, storage, and cigarette merchandise, conducting continuous audits in picking locations.
• Ensure all club shipping lanes are audited and merchandise accounted for prior to manifesting club load.
• Investigate all discrepancies, documenting and logging errors.
• Document and photograph vendor non-compliance as it relates to BJ's Routing and Packaging Guide.
• Research and resolve overages, shortages, and damages on all inbound receipts in a timely manner.
• Create systemic VCB's (Vendor Charge Back) for merchandise to be returned to vendors, salvaged, or destroyed.
• Verify that freight claims are faxed to the Home Office Financial Control department promptly.
• Isolate and document all freight to be salvaged and coordinate with the salvage vendor for pickup and payment.
• Resolve all discrepancies in the VCB processing locations.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which includes exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust.
• When needed, ability to work on powered equipment for up to 8 hours per day.
• When needed, ability to stand, bend, lift, pull, and carry for up to 8 hours per day.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $24.60 per hour, with a starting rate of $20.50 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule

• Tuesday-Friday: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Saturday-Monday: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM
