Records Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Provide front office customer service, administrative support, and records clerk responsibilities to the District Attorney’s Office.
  • Greet visitors, respond to all incoming calls, correspondence, requests for information, and general inquiries.
  • Serve as liaison between the District Attorney’s Office and members of the general public.
  • Perform records keeping and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of prior experience in records keeping, legal, governmental, administrative, customer service, or related fields.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system preferred.
  • Ability to speak fluent Spanish preferred.
  • May be required to work on religious holidays.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Must work from home and have reliable transportation.
  • Must possess or have the ability to acquire Notary Public status.

Pay

  • $19.96 hourly (part-time)
  • $41,512 annually (full-time)
