Responsibilities
- Proofread and audit recordable documents to be sent to county recorder
- Perform handling and processes for any mortgage related documents; assignments, Deed of Trust, Warranty/Quit Claim Deeds, releases, affidavits, etc.
- Process recording fees by understanding related mortgage documents
- Process mortgage documents to include rejections and resubmissions
- Proof incoming documents, and anticipate any issues regarding implementation of process changes (i.e., hardcopy or electronic)
- Affix binning, printing, stapling, and other daily operations to the eRecording team
- Occasionally assist the eRecord and offshore teams by processing Level I and II Electronic Recording/E-Filing
- Work closely with the Recording team to pull urgent document requests as needed and assigned
