Record Support Specialist
About the role
Lexitas supports attorneys nationwide by retrieving critical records, ideal for organized professionals who value accuracy, follow-through, and clear communication. This is a full-time, Remote position. Lexitas provides a fully equipped home office setup, including a company-issued laptop.
Responsibilities
- Make 80–100 outbound calls daily to facilitate record collection.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all correspondence with clients and record holders.
- Cook up with Account Managers to ensure seamless fulfillment of record requests.
- Provide daily written status updates to clients.
- Manage an active caseload of 350–375 open orders.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive medical and legal records.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, and affidavits is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows.
- Legal terminology experience preferred but not required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role is not a supervisor position.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
