Collaborate closely with four experienced DVMs and our dedicated Hospital Manager in a stable, long-standing practice. Our extensive services span Pet Wellness and Prevention, Surgery, Urgent Care, Testing and Diagnostics, and Advanced Care, including specialized Reproduction work such as PennHIP evaluation and Semen Storage Accounts. This diversity ensures you have the tools and caseload to sharpen your skills and provide the best outcomes for every patient.
Located in Pewee Valley, Kentucky—a welcoming, family-focused community—our clinic offers convenient hours Monday through Saturday, providing a predictable schedule while maintaining accessibility to broader resources in Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Be the Director of First Impressions: Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
- Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
- Advocate for Pet Health: Educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet receives the best care possible.
- Embody Compassion and Empathy: Be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation while treating each pet like your own.
Requirements
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
