About the role

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff.
  • Handle a variety of administrative and front desk duties.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system.
  • Handle mail, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.
  • Provide customer service and communication skills, including patience, empathy, active listening, and clear communication.
  • Support a supportive presence and teamwork to create a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience.

  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.

  • Customer Service and Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor, patience, empathy, active listening skills, and clear communication.
  • Administrative and Office Skills: Ability to manage a multi-line phone system, handle mail, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.

Pay

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Part-time evening shift: 4p-8p two days a week, every other weekend, 12 hour shifts.
