About the role
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff.
- Handle a variety of administrative and front desk duties.
- Manage a multi-line phone system.
- Handle mail, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.
- Provide customer service and communication skills, including patience, empathy, active listening, and clear communication.
- Support a supportive presence and teamwork to create a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months of related experience.

- Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.

- Customer Service and Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor, patience, empathy, active listening skills, and clear communication.
- Administrative and Office Skills: Ability to manage a multi-line phone system, handle mail, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.
