Receptionist
General Purpose
Answers inquiries and obtains information for guests, visitors, and other interested parties. Provides information regarding activities conducted at the facility; location of departments, offices, and associates within the facility.
Essential Duties
- Mets and greets all visitors in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner.
- Assists guests, visitors, and associates with inquiries and directions.
- Assists with any guest inquiries, answers incoming telephone calls, forwards calls to the appropriate party, or takes a message.
- Provides clerical support to the department that may include but not limited to: typing, copying, filing, composing routine correspondence, and preparation of outgoing mail.
Physical Demands
Typical office environment, occasionally stands and walks, frequently sits. Typically requires routine use of personal computer and general office equipment. Environment/Noise: Noise level is moderate.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
