Receptionist
Description
Position Purpose: Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and care to all patients and clients. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
What You Will Do
- Greets patients, verifies registration information, confirms insurance information, and schedules follow-up appointments.
- Answers multi-line phone and triages calls.
- Schedules appointments and procedures for exams and procedures.
- Performs clerical and secretarial tasks to support the department.
- Affords assistance to Medical Assistants and collaborates with other staff members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year's experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Basic computer abilities are required.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and customer service skills are essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- The ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously is necessary.
Position Highlights and Benefits
- Per diem - possible 3-5 days per week.
- 8am - 4:30pm shift.
