About the Role

Join a locally owned Great Clips® salon team and help deliver a welcoming, comfortable salon experience. As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and a key support for stylists and salon management throughout the day. This role is ideal for those who enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working as part of a team in an energetic, supportive salon environment.

Whether you are currently enrolled in cosmetology school, recently graduated, or just exploring a career in hair, this is your chance to gain hands-on salon experience while managing the front desk, greeting clients, and observing how a top-performing salon operates day-to-day.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and manage the front desk
  • Support stylists and salon management throughout the day
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment
  • Provide accurate wait times and help manage the flow of guests
  • Use salon technology, including Online Check-In and the Great Clips App

Requirements

  • A friendly, professional approach to customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Reliability and a positive attitude
  • Comfort using basic technology and learning new systems
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to support salon operations

No cosmetology or barber license is required, though current cosmetology and barber students are encouraged to apply.
