Job Description
Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage a busy front desk with efficiency and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system.
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Issue and collect visitor badges, ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate resident and emergency contact listings.
- Support department directors and payroll staff with administrative tasks including filing, typing, and reporting.
- Track and manage contract and document deadlines.
- Operate standard office equipment and manage office supply orders.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate inter-facility communications.
- Provide directions and information to guests and staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of receptionist or administrative experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional and calm demeanor, even in emergency situations.
- Cheerful, team-oriented attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
