Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff with professionalism and warmth
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing accurate information and taking messages
- Assist visitors and employees with questions and requests
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and word processing
- Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and packages
- Monitor visitor access and maintain front desk security procedures
- Maintain office and reception supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Report resident concerns promptly to the Administrator
- Ensure the reception area remains organized, welcoming, and professional
- Support the administrative team with additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and courteous in a busy healthcare environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the facility during the workday
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 25 pounds and move supplies as needed
- Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Schedule
32 hours a week, every 3rd weekend required
