Job Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, vendors, and visitors at CCMSI's corporate office in Danville, Illinois. This highly visible role is responsible for creating a professional, welcoming experience while supporting daily office operations and managing a busy, multi-line phone system.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, clients, vendors, and office visitors
  • Answer, screen, and direct a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently
  • Greet visitors and provide a welcoming, service-oriented experience
  • Maintain the reception area and common office areas to ensure a professional appearance
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including filing, data entry, correspondence preparation, labels, and document processing
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, checks, and deliveries
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed
  • Clock in and out as scheduled
  • Coordinate with team members to support office operations and administrative needs
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and requests while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Must-have skills: High school diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage a busy phone system, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, reliable attendance and punctuality, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, comfort working with technology and learning new systems, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • What will help you succeed: Professional warmth and composure in all interactions, excellent task prioritization and time management skills, strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through and accountability, comfort working with technology and learning new systems quickly, previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience, experience with a multi-line phone system
