Receptionist
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team. The main function of this role is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing various clerical functions.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide information and answer the telephone or console switchboard promptly and courteously.
- Receive and send packages via couriers, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain visitor log and/or call records, and provide security passes or badges as needed.
- Perform simple clerical functions such as typing and filing.
- Maintain boardroom schedule and equipment to ensure seamless meetings.
- Provide additional administrative support as required, including typing, filing, photocopying, binding books, and preparing mailers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Capability to keep information organized and confidential.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in customer service, front desk operations, and data entry.
- Skills in answering telephones, client greeting, communication, facility checks, and stocking inventory.
Work Environment
This position is located in a professional office setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role requires the use of standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office. The dress code is business casual, and the work environment is supportive, with opportunities for growth and development.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
