Full-time position located at 1761 Interchange Drive, San Bernardino, California 92407.
About the Role
Unloads and receives all inbound merchandise. Checks accuracy before receiving merchandise into the Catalyst/WMS system. Utilizes a lumper service. Builds and secures pallets for storage. Properly processes required paperwork. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Verifies purchase orders, including matching Bills of Lading with items on the purchase order and ensuring all information matches corresponding paperwork (inner pack, dimensions, and carton quantity). Counts all products to ensure accuracy.
- Achieves set productivity standards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Constructs pallets in accordance with dimensions on paperwork.
- Determines and sets up dimensions and pallet configuration (high/tie).
- Notifies Inventory Control if an item does not have a pick slot.
- Instructs Lumper service in proper and safe building of pallets according to company procedures, policy, and guidelines to ensure timely unloading of freight.
- Applies proper decal/license and secures pallet using shrink-wrap or tape.
- Processes paperwork, ensuring it is signed, reconciled, and correct.
- Receives approval for changing information by notifying Slot Clerk of discrepancies between paperwork and actual merchandise.
- Informs management of any issues that may hinder the timely processing of merchandise.
- Completes the daily PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) checklist to ensure equipment is functioning properly and reports defects to management and/or maintenance.
- Operates PIT equipment safely and follows all safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
- Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Receiving department.
- Follows all Company policies and procedures.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Counting skills required.
- Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Adequate fitness level to meet demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling.
- May be required to operate PIT equipment.
- Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the Distribution Center.
Working Conditions
- Works in a non-climate-controlled Distribution or Warehouse environment, where outside weather conditions significantly affect the building’s temperature (fans and heaters are used).
- May be exposed to or work in restricted spaces, fumes, and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.
- Performs shift work and must be available to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.

Pay
$20.00 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
