Receiving Supervisor

About the role

The Overnight Receiving Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores. Key responsibilities include managing staff schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Schedules warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and cost efficiency.
• Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and reporting necessary repairs.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and implements safety programs.
• Trains and supervises warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Handles employee inquiries, resolves issues, and coordinates with other departments.
• Monitors paperwork flow and resolves discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Executes Storage Buy Audit COP and manages inventory rotation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
