POSITION SUMMARY
The Receiving Coordinator reports to the Production Manager and has the primary responsibility of ensuring the timely unloading of green coffee & tea and the accurate computer entry of material receipts. This position assumes responsibility for the scheduling of trucks and will have major interaction with various carriers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify green coffee by bag type and /or country of origin
- Safe and effective operation of the following equipment:
- “Strong-Arm” pneumatic manipulator
- Industrial standing lift truck
- Industrial electrical hoist
- Accurately operate a floor scale system including the tare function to arrive at an accurate weight
- Accurately enter material information, including STO numbers and bag marks, into the HMI control screens
- Transport and dispose all refuse in the proper compactor
- Maintain the receiving area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Keep the area “Tour-Ready”
- Follow the established sanitation schedule
- Follow all established GMP's
- Perform accurate bag counts during department inventories
- Carry out all assigned tasks in a safe and proper manner
- Always be mindful of and adhere to GMP’s, Quality, and Food Safety requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and/or equivalent (ie. GED)
- Good attendance record
- Certified lift truck operator for both standing & pallet jack lifts or be able to train and acquire proper certification (through Royal Cup’s Lift Truck Certification Program) to prove safe operation
- Basic reasoning abilities, to include: Applying common sense in carrying out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability, beyond basic skill performance levels with Reading, Writing, Mathematical & Computer Functions, to include: Ability to read, write and interpret basic correspondence, including machine operating instructions, safety instructions and any training materials. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations: add, subtract and multiply using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to operate basic office equipment: telephone system, desktop computers, fax and copy machines. Basic inputs via keyboard, touch screen and bar code scans into computer system. Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
