Job Responsibilities

  • Use computerized warehouse management system via radio frequency scanner and handheld device
  • Operate dock plates, dock locks, and warehouse loading bay doors
  • Operate an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) or forklift
  • Absorb and assist in cleaning the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Comply with all applicable health and safety codes
  • Communicate and maintain employee safety and security standards
  • Arrive to work on time, wear appropriate PPE, work all scheduled shifts, complete required training and attend required meetings
  • Ability to read and speak basic English
  • Ability to use basic math quickly (add, subtract, multiply Ti/Hi of a pallet)

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Previous receiver experience in Food/Grocery distribution is preferred
  • Experience working with an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) or forklift
  • Required to work with drivers
  • Computer experience desired
  • Desired Work Experiences: Warehouse experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Must wear approved shoes while on the warehouse floor, steel or composite toe

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks

The wage range for this position is $23.10-$39.60 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
