As a key ambassador for our brand, you'll educate customers on product features, assist with selections, and ensure each visit is memorable and positive.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find suitable products based on their needs and preferences
• Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects through engaging demos and clear explanations
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure product visibility and appeal
• Conduct product demos to showcase new items or popular selections, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, recording stock movements, and alerting management about low supplies
• Uphold compliance with all state and local regulations regarding age restrictions, product labeling, and security protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote featured products and seasonal promotions

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year in a customer service role in a retail or hospitality environment
• Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
• A minimum of a High School diploma
• Intermediate-level math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
• Strong computer-based skills
• Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Personal experience with cannabis

Desired Skills

• Analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
• Proven expertise and experience to accurately manage a register
• Experience training new hires in a previous job
• Knowledge of the state’s cannabis regulations
• 3+ years in retail
