Real Property-Program Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide program-level oversight for real property asset management, including acquisition, disposition, utilization, maintenance planning, and space management activities.
  • Serve as the primary contractor point of contact (POC) for the government client, attending meetings, briefings, and reporting sessions.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor program schedules, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
  • Cook up with Real Property subject matter experts, and agency personnel to ensure data integrity within real property management systems (e.g., NexGen IT, or agency-specific systems).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations including DAF regulations, Circular A-11, Federal Real Property Council (FRPC) guidance, AFCEC directives and agency-specific real property policies, etc.
  • Oversee reporting requirements, including Annual Real Property Inventories (ARPI) and Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP) submissions.
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to government leadership as appropriate.
  • Lead team meetings, provide directions to staff, and support workforce planning, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Draft and review program documentation including SOPs, status reports, briefing materials, and corrective action plans.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reviews related to real property compliance and asset accountability.
  • Manage assessment teams and ensure completion of requirements phased by location and government priority.
  • Cook up with DAF and specialized government agencies to determine database problems, system integration issues, and real property category codes.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all corporate and DAF standards, safety requirements, and contract deliverables
  • Submit monthly status reports with each invoice detailing work efforts completed, problems encountered, outstanding issues, and pending actions
  • Oversee validation reports documenting findings of correct, inaccurate, missing, and suggested real property line items
  • Manage contractor personnel, teams, and daily work requirements across multiple installations
  • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 2 years supporting federal government real property programs, construction, facility management or equivalent.
    • 3+ Experience with NexGen IT platform
    • Demonstrated knowledge of federal real property laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
    • Proficiency with real property management systems and databases.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to brief senior government officials.
    • Prowess in managing multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.
    • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance preferred.
    • Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, proof of insurance.
