Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of transactional real estate matters.
- Structure, draft, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and financing documents.
- Lead client relationships and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
- Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys within the team.
- Support the continued expansion and long-term success of the real estate practice.
Qualifications
- JD required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing transactional real estate law within a law firm environment.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated matters independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Admission to the Iowa Bar, or eligibility for admission by waiver.
Preferred Experience
- Tax credit and government incentive transactions.
- Construction contracts and subcontract negotiations.
- Real estate financing and lending documentation.
