About the role
This powerhouse full-service law firm is expanding its real estate practice group in their Portland and Seattle offices. Your focus in this role will be real estate transactions. This will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and financing contracts. You’ll need an in-depth understanding of zoning, land use, and real estate laws. Additionally, you’ll liaise directly with clients, ranging from businesses and developers to individual buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and financing contracts
- Providing legal advice on zoning, land use, and real estate laws
- Liaising directly with clients, ranging from businesses and developers to individual buyers and sellers
Requirements
- 7+ years of real estate transactional experience
- Oregon and/or Washington State Bar membership
- A portable book of business
- A JD degree
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of zoning, land use, and real estate laws
- Experience with real estate transactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
