Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality legal services across a broad range of areas, including business law, construction law, healthcare, employment law, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, estate planning, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and real estate.
  • Leverage your experience and skills as a rainmaker to drive business development and client relationships, using your ability to originate and cross-sell services.
  • Demonstrate your portable skills in various legal contexts, adapting to the needs of diverse clients and cases.
  • Contribute to practice development by sharing your expertise, mentoring junior attorneys, and promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Ensure all activities comply with professional standards and state and federal regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on business law, construction law, healthcare, employment law, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, estate planning, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and real estate.
  • A proven track record as a rainmaker, with demonstrated skills in business development, client relationship management, and origination of new business.
  • Extensive experience in practice and business development, with a focus on cross-selling and client development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A keen understanding of the legal industry, with the ability to stay abreast of trends and changes in laws and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
