About the role
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of New York transactional real estate experience, with a strong emphasis on residential closings. Because this is a solo practice, the successful candidate must be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling a high volume of transactional work from contract through closing.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential real estate transactions from contract execution through closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize closing documents and transaction files.
- Draft contracts, riders, deeds, transfer documents, and other real estate-related documents.
- Cook up with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.
- Order and review title reports, surveys, and payoff statements.
- Schedule closings and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain electronic and physical case files while tracking transaction deadlines.
- Provide administrative and paralegal support to the attorney as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of New York transactional real estate paralegal experience required.
- Strong experience handling residential real estate transactions from inception through closing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Notary Public is a plus but not required.
Qualifications

Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
