Real Estate Finance Attorney (Affordable Housing)
About the role
The Real Estate + Development practice at Robinson+Cole regularly represents lenders, buyers, sellers, and owners in commercial real estate transactions on a national basis. Representative clients include national banks, mortgage banks, developers, and owners of all classes of real estate assets.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the finance team in commercial real estate finance transactions
- Representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions
- Experience with or exposure to title and survey review
- Experience with loan document drafting
- Real estate due diligence
- Ground lease, condominium, and zoning review
- Experience with affordable housing transactions, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac affordable housing transactions
- Secondary market transactions experience is a plus
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions
- Strong fundamentals, including experience with or exposure to title and survey review, loan document drafting, real estate due diligence, and ground lease, condominium and zoning review
- Experience with affordable housing transactions, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac affordable housing transactions, is a plus
- Secondary market transactions experience is a plus

Pay
The target base salary range for this position is $202,500 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
Schedule
All R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. DC, Massachusetts, and New York Applicants: The target base salary range for this position is $202,500 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location. R+C supports the flexibility provided by a hybrid work model. Our attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
