Real Estate Attorney

About the Role

We are seeking an Attorney to join our growing Real Estate team in our Milwaukee or Madison office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate assets. This position will work closely with business stakeholders, outside counsel, lenders, and investors to support complex real estate transactions and provide legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions from initial structuring through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and other real estate-related contracts.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, environmental matters, and property condition assessments.
• Coordinate transaction closings with internal business teams, lenders, title companies, and outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience with commercial real estate matters.
• A portable book of business is preferred.
• Highly motivated with strong writing, oral communication, and analytical skills.
• Passion for client service and willingness to collaborate with a team and work with internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff.
