About the role

We are a leading law firm with decades of history and hundreds of employees, seeking a talented Real Estate Development Attorney / Land Use Attorney.

Responsibilities

  • Handle matters in commercial real estate, development, land use, zoning, energy & sustainability, municipal law, and regulatory practice areas.
  • Work with developers, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and consultants on development projects.
  • Develop expertise in renewable energy and sustainability policies within rapidly evolving technologies.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Michigan state bar.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, development, land use, zoning, energy & sustainability, municipal law, regulatory, or related practice areas (preferred).
  • Willingness to work onsite in Grand Rapids at least 3 days per week.

Schedule
