About the role
The firm is seeking Real Estate Attorneys for their Detroit area office. Candidates should have experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. All levels of experience (associate, partner, counsel) are considered, with a preference for Michigan licensed candidates, though relocation is also welcome.
Responsibilities
- Engage in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions.
- Participate in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of properties.
- Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
- Advise clients on real estate matters and compliance issues.
- Represent clients in court and mediations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies.
Requirements
- Strong academic credentials and relevant legal experience.
- Michigan bar membership, or willingness to obtain it.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Successful completion of the Michigan Bar Exam.
- At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferred.
