A Day in the Life of a Concrete Plant Maintenance Person
Arrive to work with a great team of co-workers.
Pan out day - Safety First - If it's not safe don't do it!
Perform scheduled maintenance.
Plant down? All hands on deck!
Average day: Perform routine, preventative, diagnostic and repair maintenance on all plant equipment. This includes conveyors, bins, hoppers, pits, air systems, dust collectors, etc.
Operate front end loader, forklift, aerial lift, Lull, welder, skid steer and other plant equipment.
Work until the day is done.
Go home and enjoy a good life with family and friends.
Basic Requirements
- Ability to diagnose and repair concrete plant equipment.
- Experience on welding and cutting.
- Valid Driver's License.
- No fear of heights.
- Physically able to wear respirator.
- Experience on front end loader.
- Own hand tools.
- Self-motivated and ability to multi-task.
- Work outdoors year round.
- Must be available as needed for overtime work.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
