About the role
This position is responsible for delivering reading intervention services to students in grades K-12.Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small group reading interventions based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in reading instruction.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- Current teaching certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with students in reading intervention programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current reading methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with data-driven decision making.
- Passion for improving literacy outcomes for all students.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
