UNICEF in the State of Palestine (SoP) seeks a Communication Associate to support Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships activities.

Supports the collection and analysis of information from beneficiaries and partners to contribute to the drafting of communication products.
Organizes and generates public support for special events and activities.
Aids in the planning, logistical and administrative arrangements for such events.
Updates content on UNICEF social media platforms in English and Arabic.
Develops and maintains close collaboration with mass media and groups/organizations essential to advocacy, partnerships and communications objectives.
Liaises with contractors for communication, advocacy and partnerships assets.
Assists in the preparation, production and editing of communication materials produced by contractors/LTAs.
Maintains an up-to-date documentation center for publications, press releases, clippings, and photographic and audio-visual materials.
Plans and issues payments, follows up on cash advances, liquidations and budgets.
Monitors the implementation of communication strategies and ensures timely dissemination of materials to target audiences.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, including scrutinizing plans of operations and managing requests for assistance.

Completion of secondary education with relevant technical or university courses.
Minimum of six years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience.
Fluency in English and Arabic, with knowledge of another official UN language desirable.
Experience in media relations, social media management, content creation, event logistics, graphic design, and photo/video editing.
Experience working with donors and ambassadors.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings, and humanitarian contexts.
