Rapid Response Security Officer - $24/hr

About the role

The Rapid Response Officer is part of an elite, highly adaptable team that reports directly to the Field Operations Supervisor, helping to fill in at various sites as needed. Instead of working at a single home site, you’ll learn multiple locations, allowing for rapid growth in the security field as you become a well-rounded, agile officer. This role provides full-time hours with a flexible schedule that changes week to week across multiple sites.

Our Rapid Response Officers are split by availability: a "Day" team covers short-term 1st or 2nd shift openings, while the "Night" team handles overnight shifts. Shifts are typically 8 hours, though some may be 4, 6, 10, or 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term coverage at various client sites as needed
• Work closely with clients and client staff in a professional and motivated manner
• Adapt to fast-paced or changing environments
• Travel to and work at multiple client sites in the Burlington area

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18 years old or over
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexible availability (1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift)
• Ability to pass an onboarding check and obtain a VT Guard Card (assistance provided after offer acceptance)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, adaptable, and eager to learn

Pay

$24.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, flexible hours with shifts varying week to week. Shifts may include 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours, covering 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.
