About the role
The Railcar Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing railcars to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair railcars to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on railcars.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in railcar maintenance or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using common tools and equipment used in railcar maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of railcar systems and components.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
