About the role
The Railcar Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing railcars to ensure they are safe and operational.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair railcars to ensure safety and functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in railcar maintenance or related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using common tools and equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor.
Skills
- Knowledge of railcar systems and components.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Pay
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
