PRS Auto is hiring Rail Terminal Gate Inspectors for the TDSI / CSX rail facility in New Boston, MI — and no experience is required. We’re hiring immediately, and we’ll teach you everything you need to succeed. You’ll be employed directly by PRS Auto, not the railroad.
Responsibilities
- Inspect automobiles arriving and departing the facility.
- Verify load sheets and unit numbers.
- Document any damage with accuracy and professionalism.
- Check truck drivers in and out of the terminal.
- Maintain a visitor log.
- Keep your inspection area clean and safe.
- Wear all required PPE (vest, safety boots, hard hat when needed).
- Notify supervisors of any incidents.
- Stay alert and aware around moving vehicles and railyard operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test.
- No diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- Able to safely work around moving equipment.
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
