Schedule

• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Third shift, weekday nights: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography required (new graduates must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• ARRT certification in Radiography – RT(R)
• Applicable state licensure as required
• Post-graduates from an accredited Radiology Program must pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing the program
• Minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Apply principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others
• Demonstrate current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws
• Properly utilize personnel monitoring devices
• Ensure proper equipment performance and schedule maintenance for emergent needs
• Properly operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Independently perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
• Assist a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures such as ERCP’s, bronchoscopy, mini C-arms, and post reductions
• Perform mobile imaging including lines, pacers, and neonates
