Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting.
• Work in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room procedures, including trauma imaging or specialized imaging for patients with implants.
• Work effectively across various clinical settings and rotate through acute care facilities as part of ongoing responsibilities.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire).
• Prior acute care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
• Applicable state license, required.
• Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment.
• Analytical ability and basic computer skills.
• Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to their age-specific needs.
• Good communication skills.
