Role Overview: The MRI Technologist II Acute is responsible for performing diagnostic MRI procedures in an acute care environment, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.Maintain and troubleshoot advanced MRI technology and equipment.Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher from an ARRT-approved Radiography or MR program.Minimum one year of MRI experience preferred.ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification within six months of hire; ARRT registration required.IV credentialed and applicable state license.Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills.Knowledge of MRI equipment and ability to interpret patient care requirements based on age and condition. Additional Requirements: Ability to interpret information, excellent communication skills, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.
