MRI Technologist II - Acute

Role Overview The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and care. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge equipment in a collaborative clinical environment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Key Responsibilities Operate MRI imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images accurately.Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.Interpret information to meet patient-specific needs, considering age and condition.Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and images.Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred.Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or MR program.Minimum one year of MRI experience preferred.ARRT (R)(MR) certification within 6 months of hire; applicable state license required.Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills.Knowledge of MRI equipment, analytical skills, and ability to interpret patient information. Additional Requirements Life support training as per hospital policy.
