Role Overview The MRI Technologist II Acute is responsible for preparing patients and operating MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images in an acute care setting, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room procedures. They assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic MRI scans across various clinical environments, including trauma and specialized imaging for patients with implants.Prepare patients and operate MRI equipment safely and accurately.Collaborate with medical staff to support diagnostic procedures.Work effectively across different clinical settings, rotating through acute care environments as needed. Qualifications & Skills ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification, registered within 6 months of hire.Associate degree or graduate from ARRT-approved radiography or MRI program.Minimum one year of MRI experience preferred.Applicable state license and life support certification.Strong knowledge of MRI equipment, analytical skills, and basic computer proficiency.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret patient needs based on age and clinical requirements.
