Role And Responsibilities The MRI Technologist II Acute prepares patients and operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images in acute care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room environments. They assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. Qualifications And Skills ARTR (R)(MR) or (MR) certification, registered within 6 months of hireAssociate degree or completion of ARRT-approved Radiography or MR programMinimum one year of MRI experience preferredKnowledge of MRI equipment, analytical skills, and basic computer proficiencyStrong communication skills and attention to detailApplicable state licensure and life support certification Key Duties Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures in various clinical settingsEnsure proper patient preparation and safetyOperate MRI equipment to capture high-quality imagesCollaborate with healthcare team to support patient care and imaging needs
