Radiology Technologist, Full-Time, Night Shift

About the role

Provides radiography (x-ray) services to support physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, with potential involvement in more complex imaging modalities. Acts as a senior technologist, mentoring staff and assisting management with supervisory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety by preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
• Obtain vital signs and explain procedures to patients.
• Administer contrast or IVs and select appropriate imaging techniques to produce high-quality images.
• Perform quality assurance on equipment and assist with accreditation processes.
• Monitor patient data and report equipment issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
• Assist with patient registration and administer breath alcohol or drug tests as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and deliver compassionate, personalized patient care.
• Contribute to community health goals and promote professional growth.
