Radiology Technologist Electrophysiology

Overview

The Special Procedures Tech I assists physicians with arteriograms and/or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients. In doing so, they prepare examination areas, position patients for procedures, operate complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines, and assist physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed, and more. They demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree
• Licenses/Certifications: IEMA licensure, Radiology ARRT registered
• Licensure: BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience: Completion of 2 years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
• Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay

Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position. The expected pay range for this position is $33.85 - $43.30/hour.
