Radiology Technologist- Clinic
Position Highlights
This position will be four 9 hour shifts each week, Monday through Friday. Shifts typically start at 7:00 or 7:30 AM and end at 5:00 PM, but can vary based on the needs of the clinic.
May be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus!
What you will do
Performs radiologic examinations to allow accurate interpretation for diagnosis.
Completes all appropriate paperwork.
Performs various radiology procedures that produce examinations of premium diagnostic quality according to policy and procedure on a daily basis.
Completes all aspects of patient care during the performance of radiology procedures.
Maintains inventory and stock supplies as necessary.
Performs all routine maintenance and cleaning according to procedure.
Performs equipment repair when necessary.
Affirms any department to physician communication as needed.
Performs all quality control and quality assurance procedures for radiology and as outlined by the state of operation, FDA, and JCAHO.
Pushes and/or requests CDs of images to be sent to outside facilities for comparison.
Affirms that reports are sent to outside providers who request images done by the facility.
Affirms assistance with processing of reports and images and other necessary office maintenance duties.
Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
A degree from an accredited school of radiology or an associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited school of radiology.
ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 days.
