A Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging exams under physician supervision, producing clear x-ray images, positioning patients, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate portable and fixed imaging equipment
- Process films
- Communicate with patients and staff
- Maintain equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Completion of an approved radiological training program
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- One year of diagnostic radiology experience (preferred)
Qualifications
- Additional experience in various diagnostic procedures
- ARRT(R) certification
- State licensure
- IV certification
- Ledger experience (desired for higher-level roles)
