Role Overview Seeking a Limited Scope Radiology Tech in School to gain hands-on imaging experience while completing Radiologic Technology education. This PRN position involves working alongside experienced professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure proper patient identification, exam preparation, and safety protocols.Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with compassion.Perform radiologic exams, maintaining image quality and safety standards.Respond to emergent patient situations appropriately.Complete documentation accurately and coordinate communication with care team.Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure equipment/supplies are properly stored.Pursue educational growth, especially in new procedures and equipment. Qualifications And Skills Enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program, in the final year of study.Licensed as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or ARRT Board Registry Eligible.Current BLS certification.Competency in areas like Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, or Bone Densitometry. Physical And Technical Requirements Ability to read labels, operate monitors, and assess patient needs.Effective verbal communication, especially during emergencies.Manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment.Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, navigate busy environments, and stand for extended periods.Driving skills if applicable.
